I believe it would be worthwhile asking Geraldine Moore the following question. It’s long, but if you can
“I’m sure you would agree, the district has seemingly taken a very hard line against a Gifted and Talented Education in Rochester – preferring limited differentiation of students. In your role as Assistant Superintendent for *Curriculum*, it seems clear that you would have been the best one to advocate for a Gifted and Talented Program in Rochester.
“Geraldine, you’ve also stated in your answers last week that the district is on the right track, and you’d like to continue the plan that was put in place under the current Superintendent.
“Ma’am, my question is – if you are hired by the board for this position – does continuing the current Administration’s plan include continuing the hard line against a Gifted and Talented Program?
“Alternatively, can we be hopeful that as Superintendent you would remove the roadblocks preventing a Gifted and Talented Program, or could we expect further delays and explanations of why it can’t be implemented?”
